I expect more from a global brand hotel. The overall condition of the property was well below what I was expecting. And the additonal charges for parking and a sky line view was a joke.

On behalf of our team, we apologize that we fell short of your expectations. We continue to improve and update our hotel and within weeks we will be putting the finishing touches on the first four floors of guestrooms. The parking, although managed by a third-party, is discounted for our guests and we have made sure that any parking fees are in-line with other downtown markets, local businesses and municipalities that charge for parking.
We hope you continue to choose the IHG brand for your future overnight accommodatiions.
The staff is very welcoming. The bed is very comfortable. The restaurant is good. We parked our car and walked to everything in the area. A perfect location. Plan to be at this location a minimum of two nights.

I had 2 issues on this stay - one of which I reported on the front desk 1. AC thermostat and broken socket - AC power socket board was broken , unusual to see something like that. I didn't realise that temperature set to 75 and suddenly woke up to warm /sweaty. Unlike other places, thermostat is not on wall and no note nearby so I had to reach front desk to find. They helped anyway however, I expect a note or display would help on thermostat. 2. Unusually , the toilet flush lever is so tight that my 6 yr old can't use on his own. I had to help. I forgot to mention on checkout when we're rushing out after 1-night stay

We came for Niagara Falls and this hotel was within walking distance. A member of our party has trouble walking and he was still able to make the short trek. We had some minor issues with the room but hopefully after having let them know about the issues they will be resolved for the next person. Anchor Bar was nice and food was great!
